Moringa Forum in Japan

Our students, Florsan Kondo and Minako Shirasawa, are beginning a One Million Moringa Tree Campaign for Japan. The Moringa Forum will launch this campaign. This is an introduction to Moringa. Mariko will be the lead speaker both days. She will cover the history, uses, as well as our students’ Moringa Projects. Isaac Diaz, our own Soil Lab Technician will present the soil work with live video of the microorganisms and purpose for nutrient cycling and why we need this for producing the highest quality Moringa. Dr Mark Olson will present his work with the International Moringa Germplasm Collection and his deep knowledge of working with Moringa for the last 30 years. There will be a tour of a Moringa Farm and farm to table Moringa lunch following the tour. This is the prelude to The Moringa Research Center in Japan.
