Moringa has been used for increasing breast milk in the cultures who are familiar with its effects.  In the Philippines,  it has a long history of use.  It grows year round and is used in the fresh form extensively.

Gram for gram Fresh Moringa leaves contain:

However, these figures were established in areas where food is scarce  and Moringa is used as the primary nutritional source. In developed areas, the amounts used are far less and are meant to add nutritional to the diet.

Moringa contains all the amino acids needed for growth which you must get from foods.

As you can see this is an amazing amount of nutrition available from one plant.

Because of the high nutritional value and medicinal qualities, Moringa has been used for hundreds of years to treat a wide range of illness and afflictions.

In ancient and post-modern, times food has been used as medicines taken at higher or concentrated levels.  This method of treatment served us well especially in light of the many side-effects our ‘modern’ medicines have brought.  The renaissance in herbal and food cures has given us the chance to return to a simpler time in human history.  While we have lost many of the plants once used and much of the knowledge, it is not too late to restore the health to ourselves, our environment, our planet.
